Job Description
Multilingual Customer Service Specialist
On behalf of our client we currently are looking for Multilingual Customer Service Specialist to join their team in London.
This position is accountable for providing prompt, efficient handling of incoming email and telephone inquiries from our subscribers as well as internal clients. The primary objective in this position is to assist subscribers via email with any questions or comments they have regarding their subscription or our service. Also, this position is responsible for assisting internal clients in setting up subscriptions and managing the day-to-day operations of the subscriber database.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact with subscribers primarily via e-mail or occasional phone contact regarding regarding questions or comments about their subscriptions or our services and ensuring issues has been resolved and communicated back to subscribers in a timely manner.
Handle inquiries and coordinate resolution for subscribers not receiving their newsletters.
Become a subject knowledge expert familiar with all services and features.
Contribute to inquiry messaging content as well as help establish streamlined processes to make the Customer Service function more efficient.
Activate/renew/transfer individual and group subscriptions to the different editions.
Generate reports to support sales consultants
Create and deliver weekly and monthly reports of inquiries.
Essential Skills & Requirements
At least one year of Customer Service experience required with emphasis in written communications via email
Strong command of the English language with excellent writing capabilities including proper grammar and punctuation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet-based technologies
Organisational skills with an ability to successfully manage heavy workloads
Ability and desire to work independently for extended periods of time
“Can-Do” positive attitude is a must
Proficiency at communicating in a foreign language, specifically French, German, Italian, Dutch, or Spanish is a strong asset
