German Speaking Management Accountant

Our client is an international company that is currently looking for a German Speaking Management Accountant.

Location: Central London


Role information

Ensure that an up-to-date client service level agreement (Procedures, Responsibilities and Deadlines ) exists on the client file.
Participate in updating client cheat sheets to reflect personnel changes and to record special requirements / useful information which would assist a new team member to become familiar with the client and complete assignments efficiently.
Process all documentation on accounting systems
Calculating and posting period end journals including:
o Depreciation
o Accruals / Prepayments
o Deferred income
o Provisions
o Miscellaneous journals etc.
Preparing client monthly management accounts to strict deadlines, which may include departmental recording / analysis, comparisons to budget, forecasts for the year, multi-currency reporting and ratio calculations.
Preparing Management Reports identifying and highlighting important balances, trends and potential issues in the accounts.
Preparing a detailed file of supporting documents, suitable for review / audit.
Preparing quarterly VAT returns including EC Sales list and Intrastat supplementary declarations.


Requirements
Fluency in German (up to native standard) and English
2 years experience in UK as a Management Accountant
You must have an accounting qualification or studying accountancy
You must experience of working on accounts in Germany or overseas company
Knowledge of SAP desirable

Salary: 26k-30k
