Recruitment Consultant - Up to £30,000 + uncapped commission

Due to ongoing expansion, Merrow Language Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Recruitment Consultants. Based in North London, you will be working in a successful team, specialised in the recruitment of language professionals throughout the UK.

Job Role:

With the backing, support and lead generation of an established recruitment website, you will maximise sales and gross margin through the placement of permanent and temporary staff with clients, reflecting the values of Merrow Consultants within a niche, target led environment.

Sales- To develop and maintain a profitable client base through a proactive, planned, sales approach to current and prospective clients.

Recruitment- To develop and maintain a pool of assessed and motivated candidates in line with anticipated demand, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company operating standards.

Service- To match and exceed client expectations by offering a reliable, responsive permanent recruitment service, maximising efficiency through the effective use of technology and standard company permanent business operating processes.

Tasks/ Duties/Responsibilities

Sales

- To proactively develop new business opportunities by identifying and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
-To proactively manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance.
-To proactively promote candidates through candidate marketing calls.
-To enhance the national and local sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line with the company business development plan.

Recruitment

-To prepare and facilitate the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment ensuring an accurate and appropriate database to meet client needs.
-To screen, interview and assess candidates in line with company standards and understanding of their job and career requirements.

Service

-To obtain full job specifications and person specifications from clients maximising each opportunity for placements.
-To visit clients to obtain full job specs and ensure all clients have signed T&C’s and that all rates are in line with Merrow Language Recruitment expectations.
-To proactively match candidates to vacancies.
-To arrange interviews, ensuring full candidate and client briefing and de-briefing
-To carry out post placement checks.
-To regularly review customer satisfaction levels through a diarised service evaluation programme in line with client’s expectations.
-To arrange and attend Client Service Visits.


Recruitment experience is a must. The ability to speak any European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish would be and advantage but not essential.


Salary
