German speaking Management Accountant

Our client, a large international company is looking to recruit a German speaking Management Accountant for their offices in London.

Job Role

• Initial meeting with client to discuss needs, agree a plan and give accounting advice
• Continual appraisal, feedback and communication with the client
• The preparation of accurate, timely and informative management accounts
• Producing standard analysis of financial reports
• provide ad hoc reporting/analysis
• Preparing Management Reports identifying and highlighting important balances, trends and potential issues in the accounts
• Preparing a detailed file of supporting documents, suitable for review / audit.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must:

• Speak German fluently
• Have excellent problem solving skills and be able to multi-task and to accommodate new and demanding deadlines
• Ideally have UK and German accounting background or at least appreciate the differences
• Have previous Management Accounts experience
• Have strong communications (specifically German) skills
• Have good academics and be either part, or fully qualified in: AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Be professional and be looking to advance in an Accounting career
• Be IT Literate
