Multilingual PR Account Manager
My client is a well established, prestigious company that is currently looking for Multilingual PR Account Manager (Italian, French, German, Spanish or an Eastern European)

Role information
To ensure the effective, productive servicing of existing clients with the aim of maintaining a long-term relationship.
To demonstrate a creative approach to PR activities
To develop and maintain close working relationships with relevant media contacts, both in the UK and internationally
Manage the executive resource on accounts to ensure that deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.
Involve senior management in account handling where appropriate and flag potential issues in advance.
To provide media relations advice and broader marketing communications consultancy to all clients where appropriate.
To be aware of opportunities for other services within the client organisation.
To seek to foster and maintain a high level of team morale and commitment
To contribute towards the winning of new client business in the preparation and presentation process in association with PR Account Director and PR Business Group Director as requested.
Support PR Account Director in development of strategic marketing communications programmes for clients.
To be the principal daily client contact. To drive and attend monthly meetings with appropriate support from PR Account Director.
Take responsibility for the implementation of those agreed programmes and task management involved in successful completion of activities including planning, project management and reporting to clients and regular contact with clients.
With PR Account Director, monitor the delivery of the agreed PR programme to deadlines and matching client expectations. Work with the available internal and external resources to ensure that the programme is run successfully.
To be aware of potential fundamental account management problems and refer to the PR Business Group Director.
Draft or manage the drafting of all materials required by clients including press releases, articles, opinion pieces, contact reports, agendas or other materials. Also, to be prepared to draft – or manage the drafting of - material in the production arena including brochures, newsletters and direct mail copy, following liaison with the client and relevant department.
Liaise with PR Account Director on all written materials produced for general public dissemination including press releases, contact reports, invitations, proposals whether for immediate client attention or wider market attention.
To develop a close working relationship with the client’s preferred media
To maintain rigorous quality control over work produced by junior staff
Liaise with third party suppliers and agree on budgets for bought-in services subject to sign off from PR Account Director.
Demonstrate leadership qualities in account handling and activities in general, working to constantly improve the overall effectiveness, morale, work environment and profitability of the company.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all technology industries in which clients operate and invest time in researching new emerging technologies.
Develop and enhance full range of writing skills including press releases, speech writing, presentations, features and PR plans and proposals.
Actively participate in the company’s training and management development programme for continual personal improvement in key areas identified for account managers.
Requirements
2 - 3 years public relations experience or marketing communications experience in either an agency or in house
Fluency in: Italian, French, German, Spanish or Eastern European language
Good communicator
Highly organised and leadership qualities in account handling.
Salary and additional information
£30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)
20 days annual leave
